The 4 inch pre war Heavy Duty at left was shipped July 18, 1935 to Sutcliffe Hardware Co., Louisville, KY for the State of Kentucky Department of Safety, Frankfort, Kentucky which was the precursor for the the Kentucky Highway Patrol.  The single gun shipment was shipped with 4 inch barrel, blue finish and checkered walnut service grips.










The pre war Heavy Duty pictured in the second picture was shipped to Oklahoma City Hardware Co., Oklahoma City, OK on September 20, 1938.  The two gun shipment was configured with 4 inch barrel, blue finish and checkered Magna grips.















The next pre war Heavy Duty pictured was shipped to Police Department, Sandusky, Ohio for the City of Sandusky, Ohio on April 5, 1940.  The 16 gun shipment was configured with 4 inch barrels, blue finish, humpback hammers and checkered walnut Magna grips.









The last pre war Heavy Duty pictured was shipped to City of Gaveston, W.J. Lacey, Gaveston, Texas on July 3, 1940.  The two gun shipment was configured with 4 inch barrels, nickel finish, humpback hammers and checkered walnut Magna grips.
