4 Inch Pre War Heavy Duty

The 4 inch pre war Heavy Duty at left was shipped July 18, 1935 to Sutcliffe Hardware Co., Louisville, KY for the State of Kentucky Department of Safety, Frankfort, Kentucky which was the precursor for the the Kentucky Highway Patrol.  The single gun shipment was shipped with 4 inch barrel, blue finish and checkered walnut service grips.

The pre war Heavy Duty pictured was shipped  September 20, 1938 to Oklahoma City Hardware Co., Oklahoma City, OK.  The two gun shipment was configured with 4 inch barrel, blue finish and checkered Magna grips.

The pre war Heavy Duty pictured was shipped to Police Department, Sandusky, Ohio for the City of Sandusky, Ohio on April 5, 1940.  The 16 gun shipment was configured with 4 inch barrels, blue finish, humpback hammers and checkered walnut Magna grips.

This all original nickel pre war Heavy Duty pictured was shipped to City of Gaveston, W.J. Lacey, Galveston, Texas on July 3, 1940.  The two gun shipment was configured with 4 inch barrels, nickel finish, humpback hammers and checkered walnut Magna grips.

This all original Blue pre war Heavy duty pictured is consectutive to the nickel Heavy Duty to the left.  It was shipped to Wolf & Klar  February 14, 1939.  It was in a shipment of 6ea 4 inch guns, 3 with blue finish and 3 with nickel finish.

This 4 Inch Pre War Heavy  Duty is the best one known. It was shipped on March 22, 1940 to Marshall Fields Co., Chicago, IL.  It was shipped with a 4 inch barrel, humpback hammer and checkered walnut Magna grips.
